The deal for BENHS members: We swap a copy of your expert field notes and observations for a week's free stay. (Free that is, but you provide your own food and transport. Some good local restaurants, it might be possible to arrange meal deliveries, at your expense. Please ask.)
We have never had a standard field notes/observations format. Previous inventories have any combination of local/English/French/latin names. GPS coordinates vary according to device. Observers have included County Recorders, Curators, retired professional Ornithologists, and BENHS presidents.
